Device Login Limit
One Dinezo account can be signed in on 2 devices at the same time — here's what that means day to day, and what to do if you need a 3rd.

Why there's a limit
A Dinezo account — your login email — can be actively signed in on 2 devices at once: a counter till and a manager's phone, for example, or two counter tills at busy locations. This keeps every account's sign-ins predictable and secure, the same way most subscription software works.
This only counts devices that are currently signed in. Signing out of one immediately frees that slot — a 3rd device can sign in right away, no waiting period.
What happens on a 3rd device
If you try to sign in on a 3rd device while two others are already signed in, Dinezo blocks the sign-in and tells you exactly which devices are currently using this account — for example, “This account is already signed in on the maximum number of devices. Sign out of one of them to continue here.”
To sign in on the new device, either:
- Sign out of one of the two active devices, then sign in on the new one, or
- Keep using the same 2 devices you already have — no action needed.
Re-signing in on a device you already use
Signing out and back in on a device you were already using (say, after closing Dinezo for the day) never counts as a new device — Dinezo recognizes it as the same one and doesn't consume a slot. The limit only applies to a genuinely new device signing in for the first time.
Reinstalling counts as a new device. If you uninstall and reinstall Dinezo (or clear the app's local data) on a device you were already using, it will be treated as a new device the next time it signs in — the same as setting up any device for the first time.
Troubleshooting
I signed out on one device, but the 3rd still won't sign in
Make sure the device you signed out on actually completed the sign-out (you should land back on the login screen) and that you have an internet connection on that device at the moment you sign out — Dinezo needs to briefly reach the server to release that slot. If you signed out while offline, reconnect that device briefly, or just try again in a moment.
I don't recognize one of the two devices listed
If a device you don't recognize shows up when a 3rd sign-in is blocked, change your Dinezo account password and contact support right away so we can help secure the account.
Can I get more than 2 devices?
Contact support if your restaurant genuinely needs more than 2 devices signed in at once — we can look at your account specifically.
